Job Description: For a lovely French family, we are looking for an experienced live-in Nanny/ Housekeeper to work full-time from Mon- Fri. No driving necessary. Proxy parenting experience and good cooking skills essential. Tagalog speakers welcome.

The couple have two children (boy 10, girl 12). The father travels most of the week, the mother some of the time – both speak fluent French, English and Spanish. The house consist of 4 floors with 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a dining room and contains wooden floors, large carpets, art work, sculptures as well as fine china, crystal and silver. Outside is a garden area. A Filipina housekeeper who assist with housekeeping (e.g. the ironing) 3 times a week over several hours. The family frequently holiday in the South of France or further afield. The household is informal, relaxed and happy – no uniform. The other does the online shopping. For entertaining with guests the family hire a private chef. There is one young cat.

The duties are:

-      All housekeeping (cleaning, mopping, wiping dusting, vacuuming, polishing, tidying)

-      Care of laundry and ironing (shared with other housekeeper)

-      Packing and unpacking and general tidying

-      Assist getting children ready for school

-      Prepare breakfast for the children and a lunch box

-      Walk children to/ from school (10 min walk and take to appointment/ classes (Uber taxi)

-      Shopping for and storing fresh produce, prepare a light lunch for the mother

Accommodation provided is either a double en-suite room on the top floor (bathroom is shared with son) OR a single en-suite bedroom next to the kitchen (which has a separate entrance). WiFi is provided and as well as all meals. The housekeeper eats separately.

To start Oct. 2017 after a hand-over of the present housekeeper, who is leaving to return home after 5 years.

The duties:

The newly built chalet, in a stunning location of St. Moritz, is furnished with very high end materials, including marble, antiques, art work. The wardrobe contains furs and extensive couture wear. The Owners visits over the winter and the two housekeepers join the local and travelling staff to work as a team. There is one pet dog.

The duties include:

- All housekeeping (wiping, dusting, mopping, polishing, vacuum, etc.)

- Taking care of laundry and ironing

- Preparing rooms for arrival and leave clean after departure

- Reporting items for repair

- Assisting the team where needed (e.g. packing, inventories)

- Running errands and food shopping if required

- Occasional cooking for staff (simple dishes)

 

The candidate requirements are:

- 3-5 years’ experience in private household or on board yachts as stewardess
