Job Description: For a HNW family who own a large estate in the west of Mallorca we are looking for a permanent full-time Head Housekeeper, driving essential.

The Owners and their young children visit the property frequently and stay for the holidays and over the summer. For the rest of the time the property is commercially let and is fully staffed, including gardeners and housekeepers. The property is newly rennvated and includes stone work and wood features as well as antiques and art work. The atmosphere is informal – standards are high. The role reports to the local House Manager.

The duties of the Head Housekeeper:

  • Oversee the team of housekeepers
  • Assist in training if needed
  • Ready property for family and guest visits
  • Organize laundry, toiletries and cleaning products
  • Wardrobe management and packing
  • Report any faults or issues
  • Hands on housekeeping
  • Liaise with the management

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience within a private household
  • High end housekeeping skills within a warm climate - essential
  • Skills in managing high end wardrobes
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Flexibility
  • Spanish language skills are an advantage

We are looking for a Head Housekeeper who can lead a successful tam and organize the cleaning duties, prioritise and liaise with contractors. The ability to give clear instructions and to be able to achieve a high standard in cleanliness and household organization are paramount. Candidates should be able to commit to this role long term. Separate accommodation and a car can be provided initially, otherwise this is a live-out role. To start as soon as possible.

Job Description: For a lovely family in Belgravia, London we are looking for an experienced Laundress/ Laundryman to work full-time, permanently, live-out Mon – Fri. 9am – 6.30pm to care for all the laundry. Previous household experience and flexibility a must.

The family live in an 8 bedroom fully staffed property including two housekeepers and the household is managed by the House Manager. The family has children frequently travel during school holidays and for the whole of the summer. The household is generally informally and relaxed and teamwork is essential. There is a laundry room (2 washers/ 2 driers) as well as a staff room.

The duties of the laundress/ laundryman:

-          Care for the families designer wardrobe

-          Launder and iron all linen including bedding

-          Organize laundry cupboards and wardrobes

-          Separate items for dry-cleaning

-          Carry out hand washing if required

-          Pack and unpack suitcases

-          Assist with light housekeeping if required

Requirements:

-          High end laundry skills gained in private households

-          Excellent ironing and packing skills

-          Great knowledge of garment care

-          Some flexibility

Job Description: For a HNW family we are looking for an experienced live-out Head Housekeeper to oversee several properties in Zug/ Zurich, Switzerland. Must have acute eye for detail, be flexible, hand-on and able to cook. Drivers only.

The family owns several properties, including a main residence, apartments and offices. There are pet dogs and there is no entertainment. The households are run informally.

All properties are regularly serviced and checked to varying degrees depending on occupancy. If the couple are in residence generally no staff is required (only when they go out). The apartments of the children are cleaned and serviced weekly. There are two other housekeeper/ cooks to assist. The coordination of all duties is carried out by a central family office.

This role is newly created to assist the current housekeepers and to elevate the office workload. The role reports to the family office.

The duties:

-      Clean properties to high standards and according to requirements this includes dusting, 

       mopping, vacuuming, polishing, wiping surfaces either as pre-scheduled or on demand

-      Ready the properties for family visits

-      Inspect properties to ensure the standards and requirements are met

-      Take care of all laundry, iron and sort items for dry cleaning

-      Shop for fresh ingredients and to exact requirement; stock up cupboards and fridges (expiry 

       dates need to be observed)

-      Prepare healthy Mediterranean cuisine family meals (often pre-cooked for the weekends)

-      Take in deliveries and store items

-      Carry out light maintenance (change of light bulbs)

-      Care for plants inside and where possible outside the homes

-      Report any work that needs carrying out and oversee contractors

-      Liaise with the Personal Assistant of the family office

-      Run errands and look after the dogs on occasion

-      In time schedule staff and contractors

The requirements:

-      3-5 years private household experience

-      High end hands on housekeeping skills to high standards and ability to work independently

-      Excellent knowledge caring for luxury materials (cashmere, silks, leather etc.)

-      Family cooking skills (including lactose free) and identifying quality produce

-      Acute eye for detail and flexibility

-      Excellent communications and organisational skills

-      Fluency in English or German – additionally Italian and French are desirable

-      Clean drivers’ license

-      Good knowledge of Swiss everyday life, if possible

 

We are looking for candidates who have a natural affinity for detail and high standards, who are friendly, discreet, efficient, conscientious and very trustworthy. Excellent reporting skills and the ability to follow instructions are vital for this role. The client is very particular about all aspects of their lifestyle.. Job Description: For a lovely family we are looking for an experienced live-in or-out housekeeper to work full-time from Monday- Friday at their Surrey property. Driver preferred but not essential, must be ok with a family dog. Tagalog speakers preferred.

The couple and their 14 month old girl live in a beautiful 4 bedroom country house. Only a small part of the house is used frequently by the family. Both travel often and there are occasional visitors that stay over. The interior is modern and includes marble and a designer wardrobe. There are several other staff including a nanny. The household is causal.

 

The duties:

-      Keep the house (mostly the areas that are used) tidy and clean to high standards (including          mopping, wiping, polishing, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)

-      Take care of the laundry and change bedding (utility room)

-      Tidy areas

-      Organize the wardrobe and cupboards, get items dry-cleaned, etc.

-      Report any faults

-      Prepare rooms for arrival of family or guests

-      Assist with online-shopping, if possible and stock up toiletries

-      Clear the fire place

-      Assist with healthy family meals and feed the dogs (if required)

-      Answer the door/ receiving and storing delivered goods

-      On occasions offer tea or coffee to guests

-      Provide a turn down service before finishing work

-      Liaise with the PA and the Lifestyle Manager

-      Run errands and care for dog (feeding and letting out into garden)

 

The requirements:

-      3 -5 years’ experience within private families

-      Valid permit to remain in the UK

-      Ability to work independently

-      High end housekeeping and laundry skills

-      Excellent knowledge of caring for designer labels

-      Great time management and organizational skills

-      Live within commutable distance

-      Friendly, smiley and very discreet

-      Driver not essential (taxis can be provided)

-      Fluency in English, Tagalog speakers preferred

-      Some knowledge of ‘smart’ home technology is an advantage (training provided)

 

The family is looking for a lovely, bright, happy and reliable housekeeper who gets on with her work, able to arrange her duties and time well. We are looking for candidates who are efficient, hard-working, loyal and reliable. Discretion and privacy is of utmost importance to this family. Candidates must have experience of working previously on their own within a private households preferably with children and dogs. The family is keen to fill this position long term.

For live-out local transport (taxis) can be arranged to take Housekeeper to work and back.

For live-in accommodation is a large beautiful room with own bathroom, TV, WiFi and desk area. 

The hours are either 8am – 4pm or 9am to 5 pm with ½ hr for lunch.
